The next day after their discussion, they started to do their own work. In his room Ray is looking at the name of some nobles that will be attending the gathering

"Hmmm.... this is harder than I thought" (Ray)

After screening the list, he found some suspicious movements from the list

The first one is the Zhou Clan from the eastern part of the Kingdom

The second one is from the Veiss Family

The last one is from the Silford Family

First of all the Zhou clan seems to be divided and work separately, the one that's targeting the prize is probably the 5th elder fraction.

The Veiss Family and Silford Family seems to be working together with the 5th elder

'This is annoying, the Zhou Clan's system is to tight, If I force myself in I'll definitely leave a trace' (Ray)

'The other two seem to be disposable pawns for the Zhou Clan, hmm... I should focus on the Chinese style clan' (Ray)

Sending his finding to Laila, he then continue to look for informations

Listening to this Lina made a small smile then asked

"So do you think that the Zhou Clan is capable enough to infiltrate the Dungeon that is managed by me?" (Lina)

Keeping her calm face, she smiled then said

"Of course they can, after all mother let them infiltrate the dungeon" (Laila)

Rising her brows slightly she asked

"Hoo... What makes you think so?" (Lina)

"The first reason is because you announce the prize of the competition, when you actually could regulate the information. The word 'Enormous Prize' would be enough when announcing the competition" (Laila)

"The second reason is because of the demons and corrupted humans, mother wanted to attract the attention of some nobles that have some contact with the demons at bait them out or gather prove of their corruptions" (Laila)

"The last reason is probably to test us to see if we could realize and pinpoint the culprit while seeing how are we going to handle this, though I think this test is quite unreasonable for childrens like us" (Laila)

Hearing her daughter in law explanation, she let out a satisfied expression then said

"Well to begin with, I already expect both of you to realize this but I didn't expect you to pinpoint the culprit. I forgot that Ray is able to hack their system" (Lina)

She said while remembering last year incident, looking at Laila she said

"Make sure he doesn't go overboard okay... And the reward for passing the test are the stuff that we will get from this trap" (Lina)

"But I have a question, what would happen if some participants die in the dungeon? This type of move could be very risky if something go out of predictions'' (Laila)

"Great question, the dungeon is a fake one" (Lina)

Blinking her round eyes, she looked at Lina

"Fake?" (Laila)

"Yes a fake one made from illusions magic and artifact" (Lina)

"Wow..." (Laila)

'that even tricked Mina an SS rank' (Laila)

"It was created by your mother and father, of course it would be excellent. Imagine those idiots plotting around not realizing they are in the palm of my hands. Hehehehe...." (Lina)

Looking at that familiar laughter she mutter inwardly

'Like mother like son' (Laila)

"Ehem.. ehem.. So what kind of help should I provide? (Lina)

"Ah yes so...." (Laila)

She then proceed to explain their plan to Lina about how they would control the public opinion and how they would dwindle the Zhou Clan's public support and reputation and how they would squish more benefits.

After hours of planning for every scenarios, Laila left the office leaving only Lina there

"What a wonderful talk..... she's also a scary little girl, I'm looking forward to their future" (Lina)

Looking at the setting sun, she give off a proud smile while thinking about her son and daughter in law

Walking in the hallway, she was greeted by Anna

"Miss, how was your talk?" (Anna)

"It's mostly successful" (Laila)

"I see... so what are you going to do next?" (Anna)

"For now I'm going to ask Ray for a spar before taking a bath" (Laila)

"Now? Are you serious?" (Anna)

"Yep" (Laila)

"Haa.... Okay I'll inform the Prince" (Anna)

"Thanks~" (Laila)

After a while, she reached the training area which looked brand new. This area was repaired this morning making the trace of yesterday spar disappeared like it never happened
