The title explains the woes of middle child. If I may ask is the author a middle child? Or someone from your family? Never mind don't answer. The story is nice so keep it up.

would you believe me if I said that I am an only child? but I know too many families with 3+ children (including my mother). I've heard and seen things about it before.

Wow that is good. I will give you a benefit of a doubt, and hope all is well with all the middle children around you but I I don't think 🤔 it will change much but tell them good luck and live for yourself. Nice story by the way.
