Though I am curious author, why is the MC referred to as a they in the synopsis? Alex sounds like a male name, though I know women can have it too, but are they non binary or is referring to them as ‘they’ simply a stylistic choice? Not a bigot or anything, just curious since I don’t have the time to read today

Actually English is not my native language so I wrote the story in my native language as my English is not very good to translate it so I used ai to translate it and publish it however due my it I believe it led to this. Ya Alex is a straight male as per story and I will try best to fix it in half a hour .

Is this a short story? I thought this was an adventure novel, but it seems to just be summarizing as of the end of chapter 1 and the beginning of chapter 2
