The writing style is hard to follow and doesn't have a natural flow. Most of the time, you'll only understand what's happening after reading a few sentences ahead. Regarding the main character, he's just a simp. He was shown to be clever but immediately came off as a weak-minded individual. It feels like a chore to read at this point. Dropping at chapter 18.

Everything that happens is part of the plot so even if the mc gets the short end its also a kind of development. You cant judge of you just dropped at that chapter. Better go read some R13 novels if you get so triggered by developments that affect the mc in a negative way.

bro. this novel is on the same level as LOTM and shadow slave(same level of lore depth and hype). You should read at least until chapter 60-70 to trully say your review. Just like the first 40-50 LOTM chapters that are slow to read(it took me weeks to read the first 50 chapters of LOTM because of the lack of action).
