Review Detail of kaboo in I Belong On The Court

The premise of this book definitely has potential, quite an exciting storyline if I do say so myself! The ending of the first chapter definitely hooks the reader into wanting to know what could possibly happen next for the now young Reo. Although that being said, leading up to that point I found the writing to be a little rushed. There is so much to happen within the first few chapters that leave me excited for the storyline, but I believe more time could be taken to explain certain details. For example, exactly why Reo's parents despise him so much. Why is it that they really care that his son may be perceived as weak? Why don't they love him regardless? Why don't they believe that he could achieve a high test result and immediately take the other student's side? Does Reo have a streak of lying to them in his past? Just some things to think about from the reader's point of view. I think that those little details could take this book to its full potential. Good job author, keep up the hard work!
