Great concept, terrific opening. Throws the reader straight into the thick of the action with a particularly dramatic scene which may or may not be the protagonist's future. Love the idea, a ring with power to show one's future and a protagonist who will do anything to prevent his visions from one day becoming reality. Well-written and suitably engrossing.
