Allow me to start with the positives of this book. The world-building is extensive, and the feys and their abilities are fascinating. The story, for the most part, is a slice of life and pretty chill despite the plot and faction wars in the background. The main character, for once, is a pretty nice guy for a cultivation novel, and he's constantly improving himself. Now for the negatives. The story is a slice of life and easygoing because the main character can never lose. Forget plot armor, the mc has a plot MAGNET. If the main character picks something up, expect it to be a legendary item/creature and a paragraph or two after to be all about how rare it is. Aside from enemy schemes (They never actually impact the mc), these items are practically the sole driving force behind the plot. MC picks up item/creature and it turns out to be this 1-in-a-million item/creature. A new character will be introduced, and their problems (expect an entire backstory) can only be solved by this special item that the mc has just found.
