i really like this concept to see in through the world of the slime, i wish to see more of this , this book has a lots of potential of a intriguing story, can you continue?

your welcome! and btw i like how you give the slime a personality, food preferences and consciousness slowly develop, you did a really good job! i do not know when the vision is going appear but here is my theory of how the slime sight should turn out: 1st sight phase echolocation: since the slime can jump they can use this noice too "SEE" 2nd and 3rd sight phase slime "eyes?"(temporary): slime will have horizontal and vertical 360 colorless sight soon after for some time (or days) it gains colored sight in my opinion since this is about the slime evolution the vision has a lot of potential for a slime since this is fantasy world vision is a powerful weapon for example mantis shrimp has 12 color receptors while human have 3 for a slime since they are still evolving can potentially evolve in to a point that they can just put filters and scroll through it to see is there any predator or prey, isn't that neat?

Haha, thanks again. I wanted to show that monsters do have strong personalities, but are concealed by the message, even something like a slime. You're not too far off actually with your theory, but you'll have to wait and see how it all happens. I'll stop procrastinating now and work on that chapter as promised
