Making the Hero a foil to the MC is a good decision, with this it will be shown how stark is the contrast between delusional hero and grounded MC I love how you put the life of anyone from them and showing their perspective, it makes the world-building more lively. Just makes sure your other novel update didn't suffer because updating this one
