Review Detail of 94owl in Contract Marriage: Love Has Finally Arrived

This was surprisingly good (good = uses all the stereotypes but there are not any lapses in logical thinking so far). The leads almost instantly felt chemistry with each other, but what else do you expect from these stories about fated lovers. The mystery about the mother's departure from the family is somewhat compelling although I'm pretty sure the author intimated that the mother was dead before pulling her back from the grave lol The half-brother's attempted rape/sexual assault was dealt with fairly well, as far as these novels go. The FL goes to file a report, asks people to call the police and also suffers from (some) trauma after the incident which is a lot better than these others bounce-right-back-to-normal-after-rape type FLs that a lot of other novels have. Honestly hoping this gets chosen, although I have no idea if the quality will last...
