Is there going to be any romance in this story. I’ve always thought it was stupid that in the anime he had Boa running after him but they made him an idiot who doesn’t know anything besides eating and fighting. It doesn’t have to be a harem but at least let him have a girlfriend.

Oh, absolutely. It won't be a harem, but there will be romance. It'll be trashy since I'm awful at it, but Luffy and a certain former slave from Amazon Lily will end up together.

I think a lot of people are mistaken about luffy's character . I don't think it is about him not knowing anything , but it is him not giving a flying fūck . Like he knows Boa wants to marry him but just don't wanna . Like he may already like someone , but one piece is not a romance manga , so maybe until the story story ends you may not have romance with the main cast , apart from Sanji because it is part of his character .
