This novel has a charming MC, and an engaging storyline. It's overall quite well done, so why only 1 star you may ask? The damn system! This is the worst type of system I have ever seen. It forces the MC to behave in a certain way, and if he doesn't it - it penalises him. What's worse is that this system is an advocate of 'Justice'. Which means the MC must always follow the 'right' path whilst completing his missions; he can't even do anything remotely grey, lest he be punished by the system. After reading 150 chapters of this, I'm absolutely tired. This story isn't about Luke, our charismatic MC, instead it's about a self-righteous system puppeteering the protagonist.

Its because you have read only 150 chapters that you think so. True the system forces him not to be evil but there are a lot of things in the grey area that the he can do and the system does not force him to do anything if the Mc decides not to do any good he just does not get any points thats all it does not punish him for not doing anything only if he would do somthing evil.
The only things the system really forces him to do is 1. be a detective 2. must not be evil Some spoilers ahead that's all (he kills criminals but killing them shouldn't be right that's a morally grey area, he becomes a vigilante that kills/cripples criminals which is in a grey area, he also kidnapps 3 teen girls and locked them in a in a house where the only other 'person' there was an AI that watches them 24/7( if they somehow escape he made them unlucky enough that they could be killed from it) and while he does this for a 'good cause' it should still be in the grey area/evil like)) The system does give him rewards for doing quest (could range from helping an old lady cross the street to killing the most powerful mob boss) but the Mc doesn't have to do these quest at all
