Hrm, there were a lot of issues with this but I stuck with it until the main story started and the Rating Game finished. It went from tolerable to cringy. First thing I disliked was the MC, Masaru, and his interactions with the main cast, mainly Issei and Rias. Rias has been his childhood friend for a long time yet suddenly he and everyone else thinks it’s fine to throw Issei at her. Just cause Issei likes her? What kind of excuse is that. Just by interactions written alone it is undeniable that Masaru makes more sense as an interest than Issei. Then there are all the perversions Issei brings with him that Rias ‘should not’ accept. Masaru should be an example for a good partner minus his harem, yet the noble Rias chooses an open pervert who AlSO wants a harem. In the original this would be fine since, well, there isn’t the MC. Masaru basically did everything Issei would have done but before Issei arrived yet why follow the plot and have it still be an IsseixRias pairing? Now suddenly the author kept the IsseixRavel pairing too. She never even met Issei properly yet still follows the original plot and becomes interested in him? She has met Masaru and they both have a healthy respect for each other yet again she just randomly falls for the open pervert who strips girls in public... It’s like the author just butchered all the previous character interactions and growth so the plot can happen. It’s so strange and twisted to read now that I can barely stomach continuing. The respect and happiness I had felt for Rias as she grew up with Masaru’s help is now gone, replaced with a ***-crazed whatever she is nudist. The only hope I have is that MasaruxSona will still be a thing. If he randomly throws her at Saji I wouldnt know what to do with myself.

COMMEThanks for the review, I appreciate your honest and detailed opinion. Just want to mention that although there are parts where things appear "rushed" but do know that there is quite a lot of instances of Canon where the MC was not involved and many things could happen, especially with butterfly effect (Not going to write such chapters since I intend to focus on the MC as much as possible) As for Ravel? (It's complicated -.- I will have to reread my own book to see what I intended but) Yeah, I probably ended up leaving "blanks" where I no longer focused on Canon where "something" happened. (**: When I get time to reread I will come to answer this part again maybe?) Sona, now this is the billion dollar question and the answer for this is definitely in the book. It should give you a nice surprise ^^
