The novel is great, the only problem that bothers me is the fact that he tought upon stars when doing the affinity test and now you say that he has the Divine element of time, with makes no sense as he should have the divine element of stars

As for the complication here, it would be slowly revealed why Ryne has affinity with the divine element of time and he only recalls the stars from time to time because the sky of the Forest of Calamity lacks both the stars and starlight.
