I wish this had been tagged as reverse harem, so I would have known in advance that it’s not really my preference. The story line is so-so. It’s Groundhog Day, but the protagonist has no moral bottom line. She uses her time in the time loop to spy on everyone in the city, kills people at will, kidnaps and tortures, etc. When the time loop ends, you assume she’ll stick with the male lead that she finally seduced into bed and presumably broke the curse, but instead she uses the secrets she learned during the loop to coerce and blackmail everyone she can into either giving her money or joining her harem. She collects all of the richest, handsomest and most powerful men in the city into her harem, and they’re just cool with it. The author does her best to make it logical by saying FL is so powerful and great that it makes sense, but it really doesn’t. It’s also very slow paced time-wise- like 8 chapters to cover a lunch meeting- but somehow in the couple of months of the story, she collects a half dozen men willing to share her for life despite being heirs to massive fortunes.

This book is SO GOOD. I’m so sad I can’t find anything else by this author. FL is endearing and strong, all of the supporting characters are well-developed and interesting, the villains are sometimes hilariously villain-y, and her golden finger is probably the best one I’ve ever seen. Her word changes often result in situations that literally made me laugh so loud I startled people. Somehow, the image of the creaky, rolling ceo brought me endless amusement. The ending is satisfying without being too cliche, and I so wish the author had carried on with this book as a quick transmigration- it had great potential. Read, read, read, you won’t regret it

Umm…. “France”, “strangers all smiling warmly”, “blonde haired, blue-eyed”- I’m suspecting dear author hasn’t spent much time in France and is confusing it with Sweden, or the American Midwest 😂

Dearest author, wtf? The first 10 chapters are excuses and complaints from the author, which is weird enough. Once the story finally starts, I don’t know if the author is lazy or what, but several plot points are glossed over- for example, how the fl’s father got rich is explained as “don’t ask, the author’s imagination is boundless”. I would honestly not mind this much if this were an established book with hundreds of chapters, but at time of this review it has 87. And 10 of these are author’s notes. Feels like a rip-off.
