Yeah, no shit. I’m not arguing against that. But the author is defending All Might’s choice to reveal how the MC’s powers work - which makes sense in this situation.
… which no one knows about. All Might still thinks All for One is dead, so no shit he doesn’t think Aoyoma is a traitor. Look at this from an in character perspective, and not from a meta perspective where you know things by virtue of seeing the actual plot.
… yeah. Narratively, he has to make this choice so he isn’t tied down by anyone and to make him extra “speshul.” But in universe, this is a life changing offer that’ll help his sister.
