this cat has me rolling 😂😂😂
Yessssss. We will eventually get to know Vanessa and Vester more as a couple rather than separately, but we aren't quite there yet~
You're just about there though. LOL. I think (I can't remember the exact details as I'm way ahead on writing than you are on reading!) this is more or less the end of it. If she didn't want to have a private conversation with Lisa and Selene~ her focus on independence would probably be a lot less in this chapter~ if I'm remembering where you are correctly.
Author again! We have entered season 3 of TIMU! That means the end of the frustration arc between Lucas and Ava (woo!) as she begins to come into her own and recognizes what's right in front of her... Along with a heavy dose of the plot we've been slowly coursing toward. Keep in mind that the themes are DARK, emotional, triggering, even gratuitous at times. While I will label specific chapters with sensitivity warnings, I caution you to read responsibly. Trauma is real, and comes with long term effects that I attempt to display with realism, despite the darkness of it. For those of us who have been there, this is my e-hug for you. Thank you everyone who reads and gives my story and characters a chance. I appreciate all of you!!
I promise you're sooooo close to the end of the frustration arc between Ava and Lucas, though it probably doesn't feel that way with the update speed. She's imperfect in how she goes about it, but we're well within the arc where her priorities are about to switch around and change and begins to see how her prickly hedgehog independence and fear of being hurt have also done damage, and she starts making strides to meet Lucas halfway~ It's frustrating because healing & trauma isn't linear or logical, and Lucas is honestly suffering from the sins of her family more than his own actions, from the baggage she carries from them.
