This novel is actually a complete reboot of my previous work DC: Wages of Sin, which I decided to remove and rework from scratch. The main character has been changed to an original character named Cillian. There's no need for any background information, this is practically brand new.

Well I planned on her being killed like a little bit later down the line, doesn't matter much though since she won't exist in the rework.

In short, while drafting the next chapters, I realized Dante wasn't evolving authentically for me as the central character. And under the hood, the larger plot already grew tangled in ways that made mapping future events difficult, and it's very messy for me personally. Hopefully you're willing to give the reboot a chance, I already have the first two chapters of the reloaded version fully drafted. My plan is to post them potentially later today, or tomorrow morning at the latest, it'll be pretty much different, regardless thank you for the questions and reading.

Firstly, thanks so much for sharing your enthusiasm--it means the world to know you've been invested in the story and characters so far! To answer your question directly, yes, there were plans to incorporate more of the Bat Family in future chapters that will sadly be put on pause with my decision to reboot this work.
