Arranged Marriage: Taking The Throne

   "Princess Maree, your mother, the Queen, has asked for your presence at the Palace. She hopes to see you by tomorrow." was the message Maree got when she woke up that morning.     "Is it time?" she had asked the guard but he had simply remained straight faced with arms at his back. That night she packed a few clothes of hers and jumped into the car sent by her mother. She was already hoping for the worst. ★ "Maree, I had given you enough time. You had all the freedom you want and I see that it has affected you." her mother said eyeing her rather modern dressing. "But mom-"  "It's mother to you. And this discussion is over. There is no room for argument. I've fulfilled my part of the deal.
