I gotta say, fantasy novels are a rare read for me, perhaps it's because of the sheer amount of effort authors put in world building and character details are insane. That's why whenever I consider checking a fantasy novel, almost the majority of what I've read so far contain really impressive characters, worlds, and of course, the vast stories! This is a bit personal, but I like the idea of a healer clan here... I don't know, they are kind of underappreciated in some cases. Please keep up the good work! A good read for when I get free time off work.
I like the naming sense already.
This deserves a good recommendation to be read. What kept me reading through each paragraph was the descriptiveness of each single block of text. It's amazing, really. I'm a fan of descriptive writing and I love to utilize it when I write as well, it just helps with the proper pacing. Although paragraph sizes don't really need to be bloated with lots of detail, I'm sure lots of other people can appreciate the slow pacing, as long as it doesn't affect the overall quality of storytelling! I'll keep on reading this, that's for sure though.
People mention the story telling, the characters and their small developments, not to meniton the good prologue, but dang the world building right from the first few chapters is what kept me reading for a while until I exhausted all my free time from work! Keep up the good work!
Pretty solid prologue is all I can say!
The pain. Loss of a parent and/or separation is a great trope to see from time to time, so good.
The story, like others would say, is fast paced! But I do appreciate the quick read, the writing style is standard in my opinion but there's nothing wrong with it! The author often updates me with new chapters so I hope they'll improve more as they go! The zombie apocalypse type of story is something I can appreciate from time to time, in my opinion it's kind of hard to translate it to a good novel, but overall this is a really nice enough read to do in my free time!
