i feel the same way.. I stopped somewhere in 250.. the main plot is interesting but all the side stories and dark themes are way too much. Like does every people need to be raped or have a gruesome death to be part of the central plot? btw what chapter you in..care to spoil a bit? lol

I stopped at chapter 233 cos the character development is dragging too long. I know it takes time but, haven't seen any single improvement on the lead characters. The FL has low reasoning skills, and the ML is still cold as ever (i meam c'mon we're in 200 + ch already). Also, too many side stories so hope the writer doesn't bombard the main plot later. If anyone is feeling generous then feel free to tell me how it's going rn and I might reconsider picking up where I left off. 😄

Cane doesn't deserve this much kindness from Iris. The mate bond is there, but still, she needs to toughen up a bit more. The guy has been using her all this time and not even once apologized for hurting her.

ok but like when can we see Iris discovering her abilities and become powerful and finally get some respect from Cane 😑
