Mark glanced over at Brian, who had fallen silent as they walked, he hated to admit that he was slightly disappointed, he already loved Brian, he was ready to fully commit to the bond, the thought of rejecting his mate had never occurred to him, though he did wish the moon goddess had paired him with someone more like minded, more willing to take some risks for the sake of others. But as he watched Brian make his way through some thick brush, clearly lost in his own thoughts, he thought back over the last month, the changes that had occurred in his life in such a short span of time, yes he had been a member of Twin Lakes, yes he had been aware of the crap Ace had been pulling, he had tried desperately to fight against the ill treatment of others, he had been reluctant to leave the pack after meeting Brian, not because he questioned the bond but because he was slowly making a difference, finally, within Twin Lakes, he had managed to stop some of Ace's men from acting out their sick fantasies on the unmated she-wolves of the pack, he had managed to help a handful of omega's escape the wrath of Ace and had even managed to get a few of them off pack lands. They were safely sequestered in a nearby human town, living together in a very small, cramped apartment that Mark himself had purchased early on, when it became clear that Ace had an axe to grind and that he would become the Alpha unless Sven somehow managed to find another. He was happy with the decision Alpha Sven had made to have Dave made Alpha, he liked what he had seen and heard of the man and he felt that the girls would do well to return, however, nobody knew of these girls, nobody knew what he had been doing in secret to save and protect them, not even Brian, he hadn't told a soul until now, and he had had no plans to tell anyone until Ace was in the ground, where he belonged, though he believed this needed to change. It was for this reason alone that Mark was so determined to find and kill Ace as quickly as he possibly could. He knew Brian was worried, he understood why, he had even hoped that would be the case, he hoped the worry would push Brian into action, but whenever he thought of Ace he saw those women cowering away from him until he was able to convince them that he could help save them. awww so we misunderstood him a little. I hope he stays a good guy. and alive. he probably should the his mate, in case Abby happens to them. or atleast the Luna , Cassie.

you are welcome. I am always willing to support authors, esp active ones. I am currently writing a book myself, been wanting to for a while, and hope to get support or be able to have it show up for an event or competition, but I will just be happy if it gets read and enjoyed. your book showed up on my event reading list for the summer event. not sure if it's just cas your in my library or not, but if it did show up on others event. they may start reading. I will 100% be finishing the book. just been busy mixed with reading 100 things. smh 😆o esp now that it's in my event. but don't want to run out of story. the only other 2 werewolf stories I was reading on here were never finished . so disappointing cas they are good . plus many books become popular way after they are finished, because like myself many don't like to start reading until a book in finished due to so many being dropped. 😒 so I really really hope you finish it. cas it's a good story. I've been trying to vote and stuff to make it show up to others more. as well as your first one.

only read first 12 chapters just seems good so far. I have to stay though, the new cover photo doesn't go at all and made laugh a little 😆😆 cas it makes you think of a deep passionate romance novel. when the books about a young scam artist, who takes on the role of a young master, at the grandfather's request, cas they look alike. but it is not what you would get from a head shot of a massive hairy Caucasian male looking passionately at a beautiful woman. u might even think werewolf romance novel, but deff with s*x scenes. that's what I get from looking at the cover. not in a million years with I picture this story.🤷♀️🤦♀️😆

He watched as she slowly took off her shirt leaving only a lacy bra behind and a pair of shorts on her lower half. She moved so slowly that he could no longer hold back and flipped her, switching their positions and pinning her down in the bed and hovering above her. Mostly because caring for Wang Xiaohong was a promise to his brother. The path he chose for himself, no matter how difficult, he decided to stick it out till the end.
