Damn! This novel is a breath of fresh air compared to other chinese works that are recently coming out. For those of you who are considering reading it, here's what you should know. - No Face Slapping - No Showing Off - MC is extremely ruthless and doesn't trust anybody. - The story is dark and unapologetic. - MC is a real demonic character with him actively engaging in corpse refinement and devouring people's blood essence. - The characters are not your typical 2D copy-paste characters and are actually cunning and ruthless people. - There are no old grandpas, only shameless old monsters who won't let you grow if they can help it. I don't wanna say more and accidently spoil the contents, but it is one of the best cultivation stories I have read. Especially the way author portrayed the "Righteous" and "Demonic" sects (You'll know what I mean, when you read it.) Final Verdict, 100% recommended. Best work I have read in a while.
It is kinda unique, I couldn't imagine a cultivation novel with so less battles, even the ones in which the MC is trying to hide has more battles than this one. Then why the 5 star rating? Because it is fucking good! Read for yourself I am not eloquent enough to explain why..
The Raws are in mid 700s and this is fucking MTL, I found it is being uploaded by another translator as Quest for Immortality, Its raw is called Ask for Longevity btw
heh
I'm sorry but who's Emiko?
Yeah, I hope that system is just an auxiliary support and doesn't control the plot too much... I'd Like for MC to make his own decisions...
Make sense
Uh... I think I am going to drop this novel, your story is good, it's just that I am not a mage/magician type of guy. more of swordsman or Martial artist type of guy. The only good mage story that I have read so far is "Legend of the Arch Magus by Michael Sisa"... Just my opinion by the way
From what I understood, is that when they both fused they both saw the other's experience as an outsider and that's why he said he doesn't care about his parents before or after the transmigration... At least that's my guess...👍
Way better than I expected it to be...
