Story is excellent I love reading it, however there are a decent amount of spelling and grammar mistakes but it is not so bad that it is story breaking. Most are minor and my brain automatically corrects it while reading but the grammar could definitely be better. All in all amazing novel and great read :)

It first occurred in the Philippines where it was lying dormant on grain which was turned into flour and shipped across the world. People turned the flour into bread and other foods, people ate it and within a week almost everyone was infected since it was transported everywhere. The reason why the cordyceps infected people is it became super heat resistant. Normal fungus need warm moist areas to live in but if it gets to hot it dies. This is why warm blooded animals don’t really get fungal infections but cold blooded animals do like frogs and lizards. The cordyceps adapted to high heat which allowed it to survive the human body and take control of it.
