An SCP Author who loves to write SCP-related fiction, though having a hard time keeping up with my own schedule because, of course, college and work are on my way. But it doesn't stop me from writing!

I am really sorry for the past week with no updates whatsoever. New college semester had started and I haven't got any time to breathe. I'll be continuing from now on to keep up with the pace 😥
Sorry for the delayed updates as I'm doubling the chapter today! I have to take care of my college's documentation as the new semester was about to start. So, yeah, enjoy and we're back at the same pace as before!
Thank you for the critique, as it helps how I would shape him later on! In the several chapters, he does trained himself to manage his ability, as his shapeshifting was an active one where he could use it however he wants and the regeneration as a passive one where he doesn't really have much control of it. But thank you for the crit as I would delve and put more in-depth regarding the development of his abilities in the future!
Hi there, the author here. Sorry for the lack of response regarding your comment on today's hot topic on WN. I have been away for a few days because I just got vaccinated, and I have high blood pressure, which is bad and the doctor told me to take a few days of rest for my body to get its energy back, which I relied on WN autoplanner to keep the updates going. If you're reading this then you may know why, for the PC readers you can read my fiction on ScribbleHub as I also post it there with the same updating pace. I'll also keep updating it on WN for those who use the app to enjoy this fiction. Once again I'm sorry for the lack of response to your comment these past few days, and kinda sucks to know what happened to WN since I'm also a PC reader. Let me know if there's anything you guys need with the current change of WN whether that be through here or my Discord server (which I'll always be fast and responsive since I use Discord all the time). I hope everyone have a great day and enjoy the fic!
Sorry for the lack of response, I have been taking a day off because I was just vaccinated and have high blood pressure, so the doctor told me to take rest for a few days. I left the updates with an auto planner, which WN provides and didn't know that WN made this weird decision. You can read it on ScribbleHub since I also post it there, but of course, since SH doesn't have autoplanner like WN, I haven't uploaded a few chapters on there. But don't worry, I will keep the same pace for both SH and WN for those who are still interested in reading this fic!
Not gonna lie, I really love her character when I started creating the concept and writing about it.
I really like 610 and WDB because of the amount of horror-esque feeling that they had. It's on my list regarding SCPs that were in my consideration to put it on the story, but I don't want it to be just a one-off thing that it would only show for a few chapters. I'll definitely consider putting them into the story!
In Foundation's eyes, he is an SCP. It would be normal and understandable for Foundation personnel to call him by his designated name rather than his real name. It happens most of the time. In some cases, they would call an SCP by its name due to some psychological reason. (see SCP-7000 entry, "Luck of the Irish")
To be honest, I'm not really fond or knowledgeable at all when it comes to DC or Marvel things. I may put some pop culture references throughout the story, but I need to think about it if I were to put that kind of reference later in the story.
Don't worry about that. Just a quick heads up that it's not what you think it is ;)
A bit of a spoiler in the future chapters. Theoretically, he could. But changing it to a monster (which I assume to be really complex in terms of the form) would take a lot of effort. While later, he seemed to have a bit of trouble maintaining a simple form while using SCP-2006's shapeshifting ability.
Thank you for the input because it helped me to reflect on some of the things that I don't even know about, and it worked best when someone pointed it out! You are correct that I'm still young at the age of 20 years old. There is a lot for me to learn when it comes to writing, especially when this is my first time dwelling in the Fanfic world after years of writing personally for my own use, and now I have the chance to share my writing with everyone to read and enjoy! While it may not be the best, I'm really happy and grateful to see people like you who seemed to be enjoying it while also giving me a critique to help me better in writing! Some of your points are indeed insightful to me, I have several doubts and things when writing it, mostly whether my writing progression is too fast-paced or slow-paced, which I really don't want it to be fast-paced since it would ruin the build-up and some other things in the story. I'll keep that in mind for your input since it also helped me, and don't worry about offending me. Criticism has always been my way of improving my writing over the years, and I should be the one who thanked you for your input! Once again, thank you for reading my work and giving it a thought about it!
Certainly, while there were no limits on what SCP-2006 could do, this puts William the free will to change everything to his body. I never said that his shapeshifting was limited, but his capability of shaping himself into a more complex form is the one that is limiting him. Knowing William isn't the original user of the anomalous ability, it would be logical that he hadn't "mastered" it, to put it bluntly. So yeah, he needs to train or hone his ability.
Theoretically, it's possible. In later chapters, there will be more explanation regarding how his shapeshifting works. Basically, the more complex the form, the harder for him to keep the shape. Shifting himself to be another SCP/creature would take a lot of effort. But, does it have the effect of said SCP? No, only the shape. Since anomalies themselves were beyond any laws of nature, so gaining other SCPs anomalous properties by turning into one would be nonsensical IMO.
