This story feels so much more realistic and I quit like the MC, which isn't something that happens very often. I also like how the System isn't a huge part of the story and only has a scanning feature, cause more often than not, that just ends up ruining the progression of a story. Please continue to update and don't drop this.

If you're going to use AI, atleast proofread and fix the characters names, so it's not wrong or different names in different chapters. Her name is Tree, not Teri or Terry.

What's the point of having a fanfic if you are just going to follow the original blindly. People change under circumstances, and Penny can change to if you make her fall in love. Is it really that inconceivable for her to just date one guy from the start and still have her personality somewhat. You can just have them seeing each other and nake them a 'thing' without officially getting into a relationship until a bit later, without them seeing other people during that time. This happens all the time, even in real life. Even if she changes a bit, why is that a problem. Fanfics exist to make things different from the original, that's the whole point. People who get hung up on not changing anything and making things as close to original as possible often end up with a bland fanfic. Idk man, you're writing this and you can decide for yourself, but I probably won't read it if Missy is the FML. It's just not for me.
