Author keeps saying Worm when it's Warm and its making me hella confused.s
Pretty sure that they can just memory wipe the people afterwards. I wouldn't be surprised if each faction has a specific team for that. Or they can just do it the Kirei Kotomine way and say it was a gas explosion from a leak that hadn't been caught quick enough.
Remember when Canon Natsu took that S class quest to Galuna Island? As an A rank?
Remember the brick arc? Where he ran around with a brick beating up Shinigami, while calling himself Kurosaki Ichigo?
You can tell its a translated fic cause of the use of the phrase "Golden Finger". It honestly doesn't read as badly as the other TL fics that I've read. Made it to the chapter where he met Tetsu before going "Wait a minute" to myself. I admittedly looked at the table of contents to see if I could gleam something. From what I can guess, that bald man that ran the restaurant might have been an MHA version of Saitama. Kakashi was mentioned in one of the chapter titles so that's two for two. I'ma guess that maybe the author was importing other characters to spice things up? Other than that, the fic is pretty Generic so far. Became a famous singer, is training to become op, meeting future School mates (he met Tetsu in a restaurant that he hadn't been to in years) and teachers (He met Midnight while the old man was going into Cardiac Arrest), His "Golden Finger" is extreme luck but it feels like a way for the author to say "This happened because I need it to happen for plot reasons" rather than "Debris from the crumbling building broke and fell right onto the monologuing Generic Villain #1, knocking him out. A sudden silent appears as everyone stops fighting and stares incredulously, wondering if that really just happened.". Idk its just really generic up to the restaurant chapter. Maybe it gets better but I'm not sticking around to find out. All and all, Writing quality is better than expected for a TL so I gave that a 4, I'm not sure about the update rate so I gave it a 3. Story dev seems to be pretty generic so I gave it a 2. Idk how to feel about character design cause almost no one uses Kaminari and the author actually gave him a hobby (Guitar) but he basically almost quoted Kakashi from Naruto word for word instead of going for something original so a 3 instead of a 4. World background is hard to really judge so I usually give it a higher rating (4-5s). I feel like the MC is clueless though so far. I gave it a 3.
Aizawa does his job as a UA teacher (when he hasn't expelled his entire class) during the day and underground heroics during the night. He looks like he's one foot in the grave. A more practical view is: Trouble with getting work hours to line up, Stakeouts require an obscene amount of hours doing nothing, They have to pay for equipment costs. If they have an agency then they are responsible for equipment costs, making sure they have enough money to keep a roof over their head and food in their gut (Fat Gum specifically needs a lottt of calories, Momo is in the same boat), and generally making sure that their employees are doing well. That's not even counting insurance, property damage, support techs, It guys, PR managers, Accountants, etc.
Eventually. Not yet though.
I'm not used to authors actually using that part of canon cause it serves no purpose. Kokabiel utterly demolishes pretty much everyone there and was only defeated cause Vali. Kokabiel is a Ten Winged (5 Pairs) which means Ultimate Class. Add in that light spears have an advantage against devils and demonic adjacent entities, his immense energy reserves, and his skill with a sword. Kokabiel could have steam rolled them even harder. The Barrier that Sona and her peerage were holding up was not going to do a damn thing. Vali even shattered it when he jumped Kokabiel. It is the single most stupid decision that battle, cause it split their forces in half needlessly while going against an already stronger force.
Its a translated piece, which makes it already pretty annoying to read through. They read like Xianxia face slap novels most of the time and sayings don't translate well cause we don't have the same context. When someone says "my love for you is deeper than the deepest ocean", everyone who has played super mario odyssey knows. However when someone sees, "A broken lotus root is connected by its strings", no one is getting that except for the Chinese. (I looked up chinese sayings lol). On another note, the general concept of QNAs has been used before, making this concept unoriginal. That is not bad in and of itself but it means for people who have consumed content like this will likely either like it more if they enjoyed the content they previously watched, or will hate it if they disliked the content they previously watched. This is called bias lol. Its not really a point for or against the story, more a warning I guess. The story starting with the main character starting on the moon is not new, but rare enough that its refreshing. The system that the main character gets is no real surprise given the title. The whole "the world has rejected me" thing is not entirely new along with the having to unseal himself thing. Pretty rare outside the nasuverse and naruto verse though. Everything else is pretty generic though. Lots of wows, helpless anger, malding old men, gratitude for exposing stuff, characters frequently disappearing into the background, etc. It does go into lore every now and again though so there is that.
I feel like the Skypiea arc should have either already happened or is really close. Maybe I missed it or it was added as a sort of note like, "Meanwhile, The Straw Hats beat Enel's face in." or something?
