You're not really doing as much as you think you're doing with that statement. Most of the series on this site are at best, mtl. Elyon and other authors that take the time to write/edit their own series always receive high reviews as a result of being readable. Quality wise, Elyon has a style, and at this point, I can say it's niche. 'Shameless' MCs are fun until they are not children. At that point it gets annoying, if the OP went into this (while seeing high reviews from Elyon fans), then his review ought to exist to counter the existing bias.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but if you're putting in more thought than I did in my gift, you're a sociopath. in the same way, the MC is a high functioning sociopath/severe antipersonal disorder. anything he has done or will do must be contextualized as someone not being 'normal'. attaching rhetorical nonsense to their decisions is hilarious, but pointless.
