I wouldn't say this story is entirely worth 5 stars, but seeing the disproportional amounts of troll reviews on a story such as this makes me rather vindictive. At the very least it's definitely worth more than 4.3. Kudos to the author for keeping his chill. As for the story itself, it's rather solid. People might not like it because of the pacing, but I think that's because they've gotten more used to the rapidly escalating ones. Compared to some fics I've read, the pacing is actually better since the characters are given more time to be fleshed out instead of acting like caricatures of themselves. More importantly, unlike many fics in this site, the grammar and structure is great.

Being good at coding or being a genius savant doesn't necessarily translate into having a good business sense. Many great minds have died impoverished and penniless. Besides, his current business model ain't that bad either, seeing as that's how cyber security firms operate IRL. A decent start. The MC is benevolent enough without acting like a pushover. There is a difference in befriending people and serving under them, but a lot of people apparently don't get that. I loved the face-slapping of Aerys and his court, as well as the destruction of the Great Sept. And now I'm just eager to see the fireworks from afar.

James must have been very good in the sack. He could also have been the most malleable rich lord in their generation that offered quite a quick way to riches and political power for an enterprising dark lady. Or both. For all we know she actually fell in love with him.

For this HP, the wizarding war, and indeed, the wizarding world, is nothing but a chore. There are far more powerful enemies in Marvel world that he has to prepare for and these inbreds are eating into that prep time. Of course, it would be a different story of anyone of the other factions deign for 'outside' help.

Yeah, why wouldn't Neville go by floo? Unlike canon Harry, he's a pureblood that grew up around magic. Flying car shouldn't even be the first in his choices. He could've also simply waited for the adults to come out and hitched an apparation to Hogsmeade. I'm hoping I could see why he even thought that was a valid action in the first place.

This could have been framed differently. You could have just made the MC dwell on the necessity of Uncle Ben's death to create one of the pillars of Heroism in Marvel rather than him brooding about weighing lives against another (and even failing at that once one considers his past actions, as well as his actions after this chapter).
