I was willng to give it a chance but thr lack of any editing in ch 41, made me feel like the first 40 were a bait & switch. I’ve MTL that was more readable. I feel like i wasted my fast pass

I wish i wasnt required to rate everything. I’ just here to say that the translation was so bad i reached for google translate for clarity...and it was better ..by a lot.

This could either be plagarized or lady gu is to weak to fend for herself s a translation of this with different names & other edits. or lady gu is the plagiarized one. i was able to find this name & its inprogress with around 2360 chapters. But its not been updated for months. So im kinda worried that neither will end. I think i prefer lady gu. 霍太太每天都在装柔弱

Nothing is finalized. it’s like the author decided i‘m bored and someone else wrote last two chapters. Its a shame because it was well written & other than a few pronoun issues well translated. It combined two of my favorite tropes. So i was disappointed Don’t waste your time unless you don’t plan to finish it.

This ”translation” is an example of why i don’t read novels when they change character name and setting to take it out if china. This one is probably the worst because the changes make no sense. The FL has a bad stomach & can’t eat spicy food. the 2FL loves spicy food so all the dishes are spicy. the mom blows up at FL for not telling her she can’t eat spicy. In this, for some reason spicy dishes are translated to cavier. And she doesn’t like it. so we’re to assume cavier is the only thing they’re eating. cavier isnt a meal. So the mom only provides one dish and blowsup that FL didn’t tell her one very niche dislike. It makes no sense. it’s like the translator didn’t realize that Americans might really IIke spicy foods. They’re probably going to have little red books & college entrance exams too. Sad part... this type of poor translation will keep the story from being properly translated, even fan translators will likely say nope. And MTL is a pain We read chinese novels..its ok to set it in china.
