I had a very busy week, and the newer chapters are taking more time because I’m trying to improve as a writer. I’m taking my time writing the story, and you will start noticing the difference after around 30 chapters. But I will try to upload 1 chapter per day.

I was translating this before, so I initially thought I would make the usual changes, like in typical Chinese adaptations, and remove face-slapping scenes. I didn’t expect I’d end up writing it myself. After translating over 250 chapters, I noticed the quality had dropped significantly, so I had to take over. In the original, it was a harem story, but I didn’t want to write it in a way that would slow down the story or result in a cardboard, low-pressure female lead. That’s why I chose to go with a single female lead, one who’s still as present and strong as Haruki. I had to make this change to preserve the story’s flow and quality.

Thank you for the review! I'm still a new writer, and dialogue isn’t my strong suit. If I start with slice-of-life, many people have dropped the story before it even begins. I’m more confident writing action and fight scenes but I’m working to improve. If you get a chance to read the newer chapters, I’d really appreciate your thoughts on whether it’s improving.

I’ll be real with you, I only know YuGiOh! through memes, so most of that flew way over my head 😂. But it sounds like you really put a lot of thought into it, and that’s awesome. So go with whatever feels right to you!
