After the events of Infinity War, humanity was cut in half. Because there were not many humans left on Earth, trash piled up in some places, big buildings started collapsing and everything went chaotic. But soon things calmed down as humans adapted to their situation.
In a far off galaxy, a battle near a supermassive black hole was taking place between the Hive and Fallen, the Fallen House of War was ferocious in their attacks and was winning, but they didn't know that this fleet of Hive was not a normal one, this was the fleet of Oryx and his dreadnought.
