I agree, Xavier ultimately is a conflicted individual. He is not an old wise sage-like character. He has areas he is weak in, one of them being good decisions and maturity. In the chapter you have commented, he is faced with a situation he never even imagined possible, so it makes sense for him to struggle hard. I did not design his personality to be perfectly complete from the start, but rather he will grow into one. Eu concordo, Xavier é, em última análise, um indivíduo em conflito. Well, Xavier is not the wisest of them all. If he was, he wouldn't be a Demon King in the first place. This is my second novel, so this story is made after learning and correcting all the past mistakes I made. It is a story with high focus on the protagonist, he won't be a perfect character right off the bat. I plan to make the characters have their own distinct personality and goals. The world building will be expansive, but not like the cultivation novels where one level is revealed after the other. Instead, it will go into more depth.And finally, I hope you guys give this novel the same support I got for my last one, even though it was an amateur work riddled with mistakes...
