The author's stories are good. However, the love aspects are just awful to read. Partner is just as annoying as Aquarina, from another book of hers. Otherwise, the story is amusing to read, contains many anecdotes from well-known books/movies/games. It is not demanding and therefore very good for reading on the side. However, I do find it annoying that many of her books are not self-contained and so progress is very slow.
an interesting and exciting story. I liked the beginning a little better than the middle, because from the middle onwards Theo becomes OP and that makes it a little boring. What I really don't like is the harem. Unfortunately I overlooked the fact that it is a harem book. I hate harem books, because after the women meet Theo they no longer have any personality and everything just revolves around Theo. Boring!!!!!! Without the harem, it would have been one of my favorite stories.
Read up to chapter 481 and then stopped. After Azzy returns to his timeline, the story no longer makes sense. The scenes are fragmented, you get the feeling that chapters are missing, letting Azzy continue to be OP is nonsense. Lea should at least have been stronger than him. And now Upiar is the evil wizard from Aladdin..... No thanks![img=disgusted]
My conclusion after chapter 300: the story is interesting, although completely different to what I imagined after reading the synopsis. There are exciting moments, some funny ones, but also some that make you think. What I don't like, however, is 1. the character portrayal of Azzy. He seems to have no personality at all and lets people do whatever they want with him. The only thing he has is arrogance, incompetence (e.g. as disciplinary chairman) and laziness (he lets learn his arcane for him). The Reaper always says that he wants to get him used to it by having strong opponents, but they never come. 2. the relationship with Claire is just awful. She is absolutely obsessed with Azzy and incredibly immature. The only good thing is that she knows it herself. Unfortunately, there has never been a character change so far. 3. the constant jumps in time. Why doesn't the author just write chronologically, but keeps jumping back minutes, hours or weeks to introduce a situation. This makes the story unnecessarily complicated and massively disrupts the flow of reading. 4. Azzy isn't really OP. He just got lucky because of the Reaper. If others had the same resources, they would be just as strong, if not stronger than him. 5. the story with the Galarian King (Beast). It makes no sense why Leo (Beast) wasn't discovered and when Vann (Beast) was killed, no one seemed to care. This story is not only illogical, it was simply dropped.
Note: The constant flashbacks are extremely annoying. Why not just tell a situation chronologically instead of jumping back minutes, hours or even days?! Stopped at chapter 159. What's the use of being OP if you're too stupid/arrogant to use the power properly.
Fazit at Chapter 970: the book reads like a diary. Lots of useless information. Lots of long-winded stories about cooked dishes, eating together and relationships. Seriously, who talks about marriage at 13? This means the story progresses slowly. I was shocked by Sylphy's statistics, which are not outstanding compared to her friends. Considering that she has had the system for ages, trains daily and uses all the strengthening materials from the quests, she should have been much stronger. No updates for a month?
The story is good on the surface, but with many flaws in the details. The exp doesn't match the level ups and the enemies. Also, the exp is not passed on correctly to the familiar spirits, so their level-ups are not consistent. The size descriptions of the monsters and demons are exaggerated and do not match their levels. The strength of the enemies is not logically distributed throughout the story: As a child she defeats demon lords, but then as a teenager against level 4 monsters, even though she and her friends are already OP according to the description. The system statistics are very often repeated at the end and beginning of a chapter and are often half a chapter long. What bothers me most is the lesbian love stories. It starts far too early, the descriptions are far too long and Aquarina's behaviour is incredibly annoying. It makes many scenes completely ridiculous. Apart from that, though, I really like the story. Detailed, lots of background information and good character development. I'm at chapter 800 and still motivated.
I haven't finished the book yet because it's very exhausting to read. The translation is not good, you can hardly recognise who is "speaking" the sentences and names are sometimes simply changed (Rimuru becomes Rimel?!) As I watched the anime first, you sometimes get confused as the novel and anime are slightly different. I also don't understand what the conversation with the clown at the beginning of the chapter is about. I skip that.
Why are there no new chapters? The story was so good and then it stops in the middle. Yes, the first book is finished, but the story is far from over. When will book 2 be uploaded?[img=update]
The story started incredibly well. Good world description, interesting characters, good story development. In the meantime, however, I can no longer get excited about this story because it is far too long for me and there are simply too many "special" aspects: not only dark eement, but also light, and a second soul, of course from a prince, but who is actually a god and now apparently even an archangel and now there is also a prophecy....what else? I hope the story will be over soon, I've been waiting for 2 years.😪
