I don't know if you're aware, but this story is also on a site called fictionzone, and it's got nearly three hundred chapters. It's called "Comprehensive Anime: Gojo Satoru's Chaotic Daily Life". Though that one isn't finished either.
I mean, thanks for the idea, but I've got my hands full with three fics already. And tbh, I have not watched a single anime you have listed.
I feel like you're really mischaracterizing Ayanokoji's father. He himself wanted to send Ayanokoji to ANHS. And that's simply because of Ayanokoji's glaring weakness of not feeling emotions, and being completely apathetic. Do you think Ayanokoji's father nearly became the prime minister by being sociophobic? Do you really think he would want Ayanokoji to be the prime minister in his current state, and completely destroy the country?
That doesn't make Ayanokoji OOC though...and the door being opened was intentional on Ayanokoji's dad's part. That's why he said the mc and Arisu are curious. That's why he and the MC's dad got there so fast, that's why he was looking with interest at the mc and Ayanokoji.
As I said in another review, making this story was in the spur of the moment, so I wasn't fully decided on what to do with the mc. In the latest chapter, i don't think you could call him a muscle head. So if you want, read till then to form an opinion, but even if you don't want to, thank you for the review either way!
I don't know if you already read the story now, but tbh making the story was more in the spur of the moment, so I wasn't fully decided on what to do with the mc. By the latest chapter, no he isn't a muscle head, now if you consider that to be an inconsistency in his personality from the first chapter till now...yeah, that's my fault.
She's not exactly interested right now. She mostly did that to get back at Arisu for saying she and the mc aren't suitable.
No worries, I like making slice of life. To me, the biggest part of a story are the characters, and how they interact. Though for the inconsistencies, is it noticeable? Like does that affect the story?
The MC knows about Ayanokoji just like Arisu, from a distance. It's just that he was a child then, it's been nearly nine years since he saw him. Ayanokoji also didn't leave any lasting impression on the mc, unlike with Arisu. So right now, I might not have conveyed that properly, but the mc is something along the lines of "oh, this guy seems familiar, but I don't know why". Plus it's pretty obvious Ayanokoji hides something and that his actual skills aren't just what he reveals.
Who cares about canon experts? Yeah, I also like sticking with the given information in the actual source, but why even make a story if the plot or characters remain exactly the same. In Ayanokoji's case though, it is more complicated, considering his upbringing and current surroundings. But in my eyes, there's a clear reason for that. First, when did a character ever try to form a genuine connection with him, despite knowing who he is and what he is capable of? And without fearing him, wanting to control him, surpass him or see him as some sort of unmatchable machine. Secondly, he never lost in canon, so we don't know what would happen to his psyche if he did. Either he would become more grounded, since it would make him more of a human than a machine...or he would become more unhinged. Though the MC can't really beat Ayanokoji in anything he is good at, beside maybe a fight, but even then it would be a very close call for either of them. Anyway, the story is still in the early stages, so his development isn't fully decided. But if I do try to change him, that change will have to be veeery gradual.
