I'll take this into mind, as for the Succubus manipulating him. That's not how i tryed to portray it but i can definitely see where you are comeing from. I promise that it will never reach the point of him being a puppet on a string.

The succubus will be seen later on and there is a reason she let them go. As for being thrown into a something and being told to deal with it. It was their initiation quest and when given a quest in a game you have two options. do the quest or leave. Silver from the start took the quest and wanted to complete it. Being in danger? although he had been in a perilous situation it was clear that he could of run away but decided to stay to protect Rianna. Would he of been chased down. Mostlikly but he could of made it to a town and could of sought help. Rianna not showing much emotion might be my fault as a writer as I am very new to it but something I'm not sure if you missed or not it that Rianna had been in that cage for close to 4 days in game and had plenty of time to grieve and just stare at her sisters body. She had supplys but not any to help with curses. I'm not sure if this answered your concerns or not but I hope it did.
