Interesting. I think that is a good idea. Also about the whole "bad morals" issue, another idea could be to just tell your students that the school will hire assassins if after graduating they start to go down a bad path. xD

If I was the MC I would become the villian by first creating my own force and then during a global crisis and under the pretext of "security" and with the backing of influential people, create a para-military force which then takes over the world by eliminating the previous world leaders and blame their deaths on someone else. Their families and anyone who later resists, they all would need to disappear first of course. OR less radical, take over that one country which later joins the V5 after they get devastated by the ants (which I would be preparing for). So that at least that country will have a strong ruler who doesn't tolerate rouge nen-users doing whatever they want inside his borders.
