in fact the only fault of raelle's mother is that she abandoned her in exchange for the lives of millions of people. You might think its cruel yes it is but in order to save millions of people and her mother had the heart to serve the country she would do it. She didn't do any worse other than not saving her because the people who kidnapped raelle are watching her every move if she tried to save her not only millions are going to get killed but raelle would also be killed. Raelle already explained it which is why she didn't have hatred against her but she wouldn't get too close to her either because her mother prefer to flatter her family and they didn't deserve it since her mother means nothing more than a tool. but Yue's mother is something else she listen to that fav daughter of hers who had a vicious heart continuously abuse yue with verbal words kick her out take away her voice then if they are in trouble they would look for her to take the blame then gaslight or starts to threathen her like wow the audacity to say she is her MOTHER!

This book is sooo good! For people who haven’t tried, you guys should try and read it! I swear I have been reading this book over and over again and I still couldn’t get over them. This book has many good quotes and it teaches us or maybe it’s just me what it takes to work on your relationship. This book also has many mysteries that some of them i might have guess and some is still a mystery. Sometimes reading this book it’s like hitting my sore spot not just the ML and ofc I didn’t mean it in a bad way. Anyway to understand what I’m talking about you should go and read it.
