The story is just stupid all around, so 1 stars all around. My issue is the killing and it makes no sense. Say what you want, oh I’m in a new world, my magic is weak, and whatever but killing wouldn’t be allowed. Pretty sure the magic council doesn’t allow killing without their authorization. Wizards have to face a trial. Makarov wouldn’t be fine with you killing either. This is the guy who didn’t kill and allowed Gajeel to join the guild after he beat the shit out of his children and BRANDED them. Dude let Josef go after incapacitating him. He let Hades go after dude ruined the promotion trial on Fairy Tails sacred land and even said he would come back for revenge after he’s recovered. The guild members wouldn’t be fine with you killing either they literally get mad at their opponents when theirs friendly fire. Sure if you weren’t in Fairy Tail it’d be fine but being in Fairy Tail is just stupid.
