A value Point my friend we don't know the full extent of haki yet but what information that I can gather from the Manga and anime is that the 'power of will' is only part that we know of so far. And I deduced that 'will power' is not only key factor of welding haki or controlling it as well. The question we should be asking is not how or what is haki it's when is haki to begin with. Dr.Vegapunk said that devil fruit is made by people's desire that why the devil fruit is manifested because people aspirations for human evolution, if so then who was the first being to weld haki. Some will say Joyboy is first one to weld haki. But in my bias honest opinion i don't know if is true or false if Joyboy is the first to weld it than how can haki be widely known in the New World. Like how is it even possible if we know how the world government operate then I thought they will do everything and anything to stop the spread of haki at all caused. But I am not 100% sure myself if world government didn't have enough man power to stop it or it already widely known to begin with so we can only wait and see what gonna happen in One Piece.
