Wasn’t the airship an invention that was made by that inventor in the northern air temple later in the story? It was only after the fire nation collected the prototype that it was added to the fire nation arsenal. That’s the only gripe I have so far, otherwise I think you have made a great fic.

Maybe they could make enemies with a larger more ruthless group. Enemies of Levi’s old mercenary group maybe? Could also incorporate some stuff from the walking dead games. Abduct clementine?
