I like how he is still the same person but his personality has a subtle change. When he was b rank he felt he couldn't accomplish anything so he was lazy and wanted to live a quite rich life of a countryside noble but after seeing a chance to rise, he actually is trying to size it and is willing to work for it. I mean... I know it would "seem" like anyone would do that but how many people can get rid of old habits built through your entire life? He even let go of simple comforts like a bed and just slept on the floor of the library and is now willing to go to a obviously dangerous place to chase his chance to rise up. That fact he did this the moment he found out he has talent shows just how much desire he has to actually accomplish something despite being so seemingly carefree.

That a cool idea. And depending on who used the gear, what was accomplished with it (like a sword that slayed a dragon or great evil, what materials its made out of and finally who created it. This way one legendary might be alot stronger than another due to the "legend" attached to it being "weaker" compared to the other despite being made from similar materials and the same crafter). It could also mean a weaker "legend" could beat a stronger one due to its nature like a evil sword against a amulet specifically made to deal with that type of person or gear. This way all legendary equipment are strong and well known but even then then they have there own way to clarify its rank among other legendary.

Am loving the story and I really like the mc's personality. He's classy and sophisticated but at the same time still has that classic hulk brutality and views. It just fits so well, I can't wait to see where this story leads to.

I loved the original and am super excited for the rewrite. The mystery surrounding the game, his world and the secret factions are all incredibly intriguing and I can't wait for the gradual reveal for all of it.
