I understand. I get this feels like you have to explain yourself but I'm just kinda airing out a pet peeve about these types of novels. A lot of them do it even worse than this so at least it's not bad enough to make me stop reading

Ngl that’s kinda what I hate with these kind of stories, everyone comes to pick a fight with mc and it’s somehow their fault. Ik it’s for humor but it just makes the world around mc seems full of idiots for accusing him for nothing

Max is the "real MC" of this world right? or am I getting that wrong

nah ngl, whats actually the point of him getting stronger then if the world's gonna magically level up to match his power, kinda makes it boring to read about him getting stronger if it's gonna be borderline useless

I hope we get a better reason for why he's so hellbent on this even after Frey gave up his Lord spot. Otherwise, this is just some obstacle to the MC just for the sake of having someone powerful in his way instead of something naturally occurring
