Unbelievable how much potential this novel had and it just kept spiralling downwards with the main character refusing to have development. Incredibly funny how there was an entire arc about the mc trying to change himself and immediately after the arc is done everything in it is forgotten and he just keeps behaving just like before the arc.

Genuinely seeing real life legends from history that I love to read about is very cool. So it is makes me incredibly sad how terrible the mc is. The character development is all over the place, out of nowhere he will turn from naïve innocent kid to a mature and smart man, only to become a literal dumbass 5 chapters later. This process just keeps repeating idk why the writer doesn't want the mc to actually develop. He keeps making the exact same mistakes, it's as if he's allergic to learning from mistakes.

Didn't have much expectation from something the sounded pretty much like my hero academia but with villains. Holy shit it actually went beyond what I expected. Only bad thing I had to say about the novel was that it felt like the mc didn't really get development throughout but in the last chapters there started being a few changes. Also the plot twist in the recent chapters was actually insane can't wait to see where it goes.

This started out pretty bad as a generic novel but it somehow kept me reading. It got better after a while story was okish but the grammar started becoming worse and worse. At some point the story starts to branch out in too many directions making it difficult to actually keep up with what's happening. Too many subplots are started to create "suspense" but honestly all it does is annoy the reader

The pacing of the story is so god damn slow and somehow the novel is so god damn good. It's the first novel i read to have so much world building.

To be honest, the story is above average at best. The reason why solo levelling blew up was mostly because of the art in the manhwa. Still definitely worth reading.
