I really enjoyed this book but after the Euron/Kraken arc it turned to a pile of dogsh*t. Like literally it was so unique and interesting with a smart MC that really navigated the world of GOT in an gripping way but then it just did a 180 and went straight to trash with a reckless/dumb mc. I think the author just rushed to get into canon and completely forgot what he was building

I really like how he has contingency plans in case he dies in this battle as it makes the story more realistic. But if the author uses this as a plot device to make him disappear and skip to the plot of GOT and allow everything to go like in cannon and then suddenly he reappears again this story is gonna turn to trash
