It is completly possible for the Eye of Cthulu to spawn while in a goblin invasjon if I remember correctly.
Just like the Goblin Invasion that was supposed to be activated by meeting various conditions that I hadn't met yet alongside the eye of Cthulhu that shouldn't have been able to appear during the goblin invasion. - Milo300816dCommenté

To be more specific, its a self defence mesure that the world itself uses to purge impurities when thing get dire, same as the crimson. The Holow is used by the world to keep these 2 powers at Bay.

Sorry, I meant that in the uppdate to come, weapons that have the same reforge will be able to stack to 9999. They haven't implemented it yet.

The terraria lore states that the goblins are dumb enough to start an invasjon just because someone stole a piece of cloth, so there is no reason for the goblins to use the battlestendard to summon more goblins. It is also why you craft the battlestendard with 10 tattered cloth, that you get from killing goblin scouts.
This was a Goblin Invasion that had started due to the goblins activating the Goblin Battle Standard, which is a banner that calls the Goblins currently nearby to attack. - Milo300816dCommenté
