I think 10 is fine, you can increase the no of people and also make some jonin as retired which will even out the things.

I really don't want it to be a harem. With the character development of Aiden so far and the personality setting that has been established for him till now getting harem is completely overturning the story. Harem may have been good if we had seen relevant character buildup for him not like how his current personality and image he had built, but since it's not then you should continue the flow. Especially him taking so long to acknowledge love it's more meaningful to excavate relationship between Ava and Aiden to deeper extent and you can also add some kink between them for fan service. Besides, the main theme of story is different and getting a harem will ruin everything. There are already a lot of characters like Tom, Wade, Dustin, Cameroon, Rachel etc who can be further developed to give more depth to already great story. So far I really liked your work and it's one of the best webnovel of all time that I have read and if you continue to stick to the plot setting that you already planned and maintain the similar quality of chapter I can guarantee that this novel will be one of the classics of Webnovel.
