I liked the story at first, but honestly with so many different povs it becomes a chore to read and the mc has just become some Mary sue who never actually loses anything with real meaning, and when he does lose they do some Mary sue shenanigans where they actually won and played their opponents all along. It’s just become some face slapping power fantasy story.

I mean, it was war so no one’s the good guy. but they probably thought that the Persians were gonna claim Greece and basically overwrite their culture so eh idk

It’s hard but more in a grind at one boss for hours until you get good enough to beat it than a this is impossible and annoying kind of way

Great fic. it’s a slow burn but that allows the world to be built up in a detailed and easily understandable manner

Yeah but some random gangster comes up to you being chased by a cop you have no reason to 1 trust the gangster and 2 believe the gangster can even offer anything

The character is basically based off of Raymond reddington from blacklist but the author just doesn’t understand the character at all.yes they might do terrible things but it’s always for an overarching reason. He wouldn’t just brutally murder a cop for no visible gain
