All of the things you listed were personality traits. Not once have I seen someone use "charisma" or "not a wimp" as a way of describing whether the writing was good or not, those are adjectives used to describe the character themselves and their personality, not their writing. If you were talking about writing, you would have said something along the lines of "consistent characterization", "more interesting personality traits", or "strong motivations", since those are things that describe the writing quality of a character and not the characters personality.
The mental gymnastics here are crazy...
It's been a while since I laughed this much at a comment dude, thanks.
I love how everyone suddenly loves Jerry after complaining about the name every single chapter and finally getting the change they wanted, only it's good enough for them. I agree, the new one sucks, but I already liked Jerry as the name, you guys got what you asked for.
Sure, but that's kind of risky though, since there's always the chance that they'll just say there was no consent and screw you over because you weren't clear enough. It's better you take a chance and maybe ruin the mood than take a chance and maybe ruin your reputation and possibly life.
You weren't talking about his writing though? When I asked what you were talking about you started listing personality traits, you didn't say anything about how well written those traits were or how good their implementation was compared to the MC's. I then responded by listing Maw's bad personality traits, since you only wanted to list his good ones. If you want to talk about it from a writing standpoint then sure, I agree, he was more well-written since he was written by a profesional writer and not a fanficiton author, but your weren't talking about that originally, you were talking about him from a personality standpoint, not a writing one.
I didn't say that made him a sociopath (it does, since you're treating a person like a thing and not a fellow sapient creature, but I digress), I just said that telling someone to do that is a pretty sociopathic thing to say.
You're really case here dude, keep talking, it's hilarious.
You literally said to "treat her as an investment". That's a pretty sociopathic thing to say, so I assumed you were talking about the sociopathic traits of Thanos too.
He also committed genocide and was the ultimate *ss-kisser.
Bro, this system needs a software update, this is ridiculous...
It's his name? Why wouldn't he introduce himself by his name? Just because you don't like it doesn't mean he's going to change it.
Somebody's insecure...
It's a very popular theory, I was just asking if it was true here.
How?
Thanos is a sociopathic, genocidal, lunatic, why would he follow in his footsteps?
?
Wow, it's like the people in this comment section don't understand what morals are. If someone accused him of doing something horrible, like child labor, then of course he'd be offended. And he no longer needs to keep up his Ebony Maw act, now that he's not near anyone who would find it suspicious, so he can actually react without hiding his every emotion.
What?
The only instance where I want to remain a virgin...
