please, please stop. eveofchaos is simply bad at this, he is just bad. at least try to research about the genre a bit before incorporating it into your novel. i hope it gets better as we go, it's just unbearable now.

exceptional world building, clean writing style, fair plot and character development are some of this work's positive qualities. the author doesn't spare any effort in getting into details about the world building, there's some info dump at first but he starts to slowly feed the information to us later on, in a way we can digest. the writing quality is clean, with barely any grammatical mistakes and not many typos. both the plot and characters start out vague but get progressively deeper and more complex as the story goes on. the story is mainly focused on cultivation and it does an excellent job at it. all in all i love this work, but it isn't without its flaws. the biggest one that I've noticed as of now(350chs) is filler. there's filler at virtually every single chapter, and the short length of each chapter doesn't help with it at all. sometimes we get into random and redundant subjects that have nothing to do with the story, and are quite frankly, irrelevant. the author probably adapted this writing style in order to increase the release rate, which is understandable considering he wants to make money, but i feel like he's taken it too far, to the point of actually integrating this negative factor into the story. if you filtered out all the filler, i reckon that the story would be wrapped up within 1000-1500 chapters which is... fucked up considering you're reading a total of hundreds of chapters of filler. anyway, that's it for my review, all in all i still love it and it deserves a solid 8/10. however, everything considered, i am still at ch350 and my opinion is subject to change, hopefully a more positive one.

to anyone who may have read up to this point, I'm dropping it. you see every plot has its lows and highs, usually after a lot of filler(especially this much, it's been what, 50 chapters now?) the plot reaches its high. but now i realize this wasn't a setup nor filler, this was the actual content of the story, which, in fact, is plot repetition. the same scenarios have played out in the past 500 chapters God knows how many times and i thought the author was gonna come up with something new now, but just like any xianxia story, there has to be plot repetition. I'm assuming the author's gonna keep repeating this plot until the story ends and frankly speaking i see no point in reading any further considering that the story is more plot-fuocused rather cultivation-focused. enjoyed the ride so far, now it's come to and end. that's all, see ya.
